The OVP Foundation for Healthier Communities is committed to removing any barriers to a successful recovery from substance use disorders.

Unless you’ve been in recovery, yourself, those barriers are not always what you expect. You may not have pet care during treatment. You may have been homeless or lost your driver’s license, and you can’t get the identification documents that you need to find a job. It might be that you have no way of getting to your appointments, that you lack the education or training to get a job, or that you need legal assistance to get a criminal record cleared.

When roadblocks stand in the way of someone’s successful recovery, the OVP Foundation for Healthier Communities is focused on working with those patients to find a way to remove them.

To help us provide that assistance, please contact Velma Workman, Director of Development and Community Engagement, at vworkman@ovp.healthcare.
